How we handle your details

This page explains what happens to the information you give us through this website. It is operated by Jak & Zam Conglomerate LTD (company number 14883574), The Joiners Shop The Historic Dockyard, Chatham, Kent, United Kingdom, ME4 4TZ.

What we collect

  • Contact form: your name, email, optional company and phone, subject and message.
  • Support form: the same details plus a description of your IT issue. Please do not include passwords or access keys.
  • Careers form: your name, email, optional phone, the role or area you are interested in, your introduction and, if you choose, a CV (PDF or DOCX).
  • IT enquiries (signed in): your account email, contact details and the enquiry details you enter, such as a summary, preferred support method and status updates.

Where your details go

Each form goes only to its own fixed company inbox: Contact to enquiries@jakandzamitsolutions.co.uk, Support to it-helpdesk@jakandzamitsolutions.co.uk and Careers to hr@jakandzamitsolutions.co.uk. Your email address is set as the reply address so the team can answer you. Messages are sent through our email delivery provider, Resend. These form messages and CVs are not saved in the website’s application database; they are delivered to the relevant company email inbox. A CV is sent privately as an email attachment and is never published on the website.

If you sign in, your account and saved IT enquiries are held by the account service this website uses. This is a dedicated account service for JAK & ZAM IT Solutions only, provided through Lovable Cloud on Supabase infrastructure in the European Union (Paris, France). Your sign-in session is kept in your browser so you stay signed in on this website. The website itself is hosted by Lovable.

Why we use it (lawful bases)

  • Taking steps at your request or providing a service: answering IT enquiries and support requests, and managing your account and saved enquiries.
  • Legitimate interests: replying to general messages, considering a speculative job application you send us, and keeping the website and forms secure and free from abuse.
  • Legal obligation: keeping records where the law requires it.
  • Consent: only where we ask for it. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting the service you need.

Service providers

We use these providers to run this website. Some may process data outside the UK; we rely on their published terms for how that is safeguarded.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose you gave it to us, and afterwards only where needed for legal, record-keeping or dispute reasons. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to, and receive a copy of your personal data, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
